To that end, the company adheres to the strictest consumer privacy guidelines and uses state-of-the-art security technology to protect any information you provide to and through our website, www.yourschool.in, or any other sites owned or operated by solvin (hereinafter referred to as the "yourschool").

About yourschool System

Similarly each of the schools listed on the yourschool Website may have adopted for advertising and using (“the yourschoolSystem”) to replace their traditional pen-and-paper methods. The yourschool Website interacts with the schools’ yourschool Systems to place their content online. While an individual school’s details (as chosen by the school) are accessible to the yourschool Website and system to perform these functions, other information that may be stored by yourschool (for example, reminders, SMS preferences etc.) is not accessible from yourschool Website. Similarly, yourschool Website may pass pertinent information to the yourschoolSystem of individual schools. However, individual schools cannot access any such information from the yourschool Website directly. In some instances a school(s) may operate its own website (other than yourschool Website or its affiliate) and collect a myriad of student/user/parent information directly as part of the online data collation process. In those cases, only the information passed directly to the yourschool Website to complete the transaction is stored by the yourschool Website (e.g. parent/student name, phone and email address). Your personal information is passed or may not be passed through from these sites or other sources onto the yourschool System. If you choose to make a transaction through these channels, or any other way, you may not be entitled to receive other benefits as you would as a Registered User through the yourschool Website (www.yourschool.com) This document describes how yourschool Website user information is collected, stored, used and, in specific instances, shared with other users via their yourschool System.

Information you will be asked to provide when using the yourschool Websites

There are two ways you can use the yourschool Website.

Unregistered Users:

As an Unregistered User, you will only be able to see the listing of various Schools, read the various comments and ratings associated with each School. Unregistered Users cannot perform any transactions on the website other than to contact the School.

Registered Users:

If you choose to register with yourschool (become a Registered School) in order to take advantage of the system, you will be asked to provide a name, an address with postal PIN Code, telephone numbers (Land line and Mobile) , an email address, a password of your choice and your city. Users outside of India should understand that all information gathered during the registration, is sent to and stored on secure servers that are located in the United States / India. The United States / India have data protection laws that may not be consistent with those of other countries. If yourschool transfers your information outside of your host country, yourschool will take steps to ensure that your privacy rights continue to be protected.

What information is accessible to schools

When you make a transaction using the yourschool Website, your name and telephone number are provided to that school. yourschool will only share the information specified above with the school at which you have been registered. Schools cannot use their yourschool System to access information pertaining to history with other Schools that you might have been associated with in the past, with the exception that the School may belong to the same franchise and may elect to share diner information between the Schools in that franchise.

yourschool sends automated service messages pertaining to transactions performed on the website. You cannot unsubscribe from all service messages. Where you have consented to receive marketing communications from yourschool, you may from time to time receive communications relating to special offers. You may unsubscribe from the yourschool email list at any time by following the directions provided in the email communications, by replying to the marketing communications with "Unsubscribe" in the subject line, or by visiting your Profile page and choosing to opt out from receiving marketing communications.

You may also consent to receive marketing communications from the School at which your child is registered. You may unsubscribe from the School’s email list at any time by visiting your Profile page and choosing to opt out from receiving marketing communications.

Purposes of use of your personal information

yourschool may use your personal information for the following purposes:

to provide you with information about the services of the yourschool Websites,
to provide services which Registered Users are entitled to under applicable terms and conditions,
to produce aggregate statistical data for the improvement of services offered by the yourschool Websites,
to use the aggregate statistical data for promotional purpose,
for any other purposes related to those above.

Viewing your profile and changing your personal information

Once a Registered User logs on to the yourschool Websites, that user can view his or her personal information stored by yourschool by clicking on the "About" link at the top of the page. Every user is also able to view and change the following personal information: name, email address, password, phone number, address (if it has been provided by the user) and whether that user would like to receive marketing communications from yourschool. The user at any time may contact yourschool to request that all personal information be deactivated.

How yourschool uses your personal information

yourschool will never sell, rent, loan or otherwise distribute any of your personal information (including but not limited to your name, email address, phone number or any other identifiable information about you) to any third party without your prior expressed consent, although yourschool will pass certain information on to restaurants at which you make reservations, only as described above. yourschool does use aggregate data (based partly on IP addresses of website visitors) collected through its website to analyze website usability, system performance and usage trends. While this data, in its aggregate form only, may be shared with third parties with whom yourschool works to analyze it, the data will only be shared under the strictest terms of confidentiality and will never contain any personally identifiable information pertaining to any user of the yourschool Websites. yourschool may use web beacons and Analytics auditing softwares to track page views and entry and exit points to and from yourschool Website. yourschool may place and analyze the cookies on your internet browser to help determine the effectiveness of yourschool advertising and marketing campaigns. Again, the data collected will only be used in an aggregate form and will not contain any personally identifiable information, and only yourschool will have access to this aggregate data. In addition, yourschool uses web beacons and cookies to monitor behavior with respect to email sent by yourschool to Registered Users who have opted to receive email from yourschool. Again, the data collected will only be used in an aggregate form, and only yourschool will have access to this data. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this privacy policy, yourschool may be required to disclose user and personal information in response to inquiries by formal law enforcement, or in cases permitted by the various IPC Acts (In INDIA) or by an Act of Parliament or as the case may be.

How schools may use your personal information

Schools in the yourschool network system primarily use information provided through the yourschool Website to contact the parents whose student study in the registered School. Additionally, as noted above, if the user has given permission to yourschool to send email / mail to that user's email address / postal address, the school may then contact the diner through yourschool. yourschool does create back-up copies of all information stored on the yourschool System for that school, to assist in the restoration process in the event of data loss. The schools within yourschool’s network are separate businesses from yourschool. While yourschool encourages them to comply with data protection requirements, yourschool will not be responsible if these Schools fail to comply with respect to your information. Any complaints or inquiries regarding use of your information by a yourschool school, or marketing communications from a yourschool restaurant, should be addressed directly to yourschool with the school in question. Schools within the yourschool network may also have their own adjoining websites. yourschool is not responsible for how these schools may collect your personal information through their own websites. Please contact the appropriate school regarding its website's privacy policy (if applicable) and how it will access or use your personal information.

How yourschool protects your registration information

yourschool uses a state-of-the-art multi-layer encryption algorithm and makes its best efforts to ensure that all of your user information is secure. In addition, yourschool stores all of your personal information on a secure server. yourschool employs a staff that regularly maintains the security of all personal information stored, and that continually monitors and implements changes and improvements that become available in the electronic data security industry.

Changes to yourschool’s privacy policy

Any changes to yourschool’s privacy policy will always be posted to this section of the website, along with the effective date of the new policy. All users should check this privacy policy page periodically to stay abreast of any such changes. yourschool will never make changes to its privacy policy that violate any applicable privacy laws, or other commercial privacy standards.
